Cookie Policy
Last updated: 10 December 2025
1. About This Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Stream LLC ("the Company," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on gostreampay.com and within the Stream billing platform. It supplements our Privacy Policy. The Stream platform is a billing, accounts-receivable, and collections tool for Saudi organisations; the cookies described here apply to the public-facing website and to user sessions within the platform dashboard.
2. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website or log into a web application. They allow us to recognise your browser or session, store preferences, keep you logged in securely, and measure how the site is used. We also use related technologies such as local storage for banner-dismissal state and session management.
3. How We Use Cookies
| Category | Examples | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Platform session token, CSRF protection token, cookie-banner dismissal state | Session to 12 months |
| Preferences | Language setting, dashboard view preferences | Up to 12 months |
| Analytics | Self-hosted, anonymised page-view and session-duration data. No third-party tracking. | Up to 13 months |
| Marketing | Not currently used | N/A |
4. Notice and Choice
Stream operates on a notice-only consent model. When you first visit gostreampay.com, a cookie banner informs you of our cookie use. By continuing to use the Service, you acknowledge our use of cookies as described in this policy. You can opt out of analytics cookies at any time using the cookie banner or by configuring your browser.
5. Opt-Out Signals
If your browser or browser extension transmits a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, Stream will treat it as a request to suppress analytics initialisation for your session, regardless of whether you have dismissed the cookie banner. Strictly necessary cookies required for secure login and session management are not affected by opt-out signals.
6. Third-Party Cookies
Stream does not use third-party advertising or social-media cookies. Analytics data is collected by a self-hosted tool running on KSA-region infrastructure. Where we engage technical service providers (such as email delivery services for invoice sending), those providers may use their own cookies within their own services; they are bound by data-processing agreements that limit use of any data to the agreed service purpose.
7. Managing Cookies
- Use the cookie banner (accessible at any time via "Cookie preferences" in the footer) to withdraw acceptance of analytics cookies.
- Your browser settings allow you to block or delete cookies; see aboutcookies.org for device-specific instructions. Note that disabling strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from logging into the Stream platform.
8. Changes and Contact
We may update this policy when we change the cookies we use or our analytics tooling. The "Last updated" date above will reflect any such change.
